How we became Hamilton Elevators
Managing Director Alex Brandon, a keen sailor, was enjoying some down time at Hamilton Island Race Week in 2009 with fellow sailors who included some leading architects and builders.
Knowing Alex was working with a major international elevator company, the discussion turned to the challenges developers faced with price and inflexibility of the market leaders. “Why don’t you start your own company?” they suggested. And a business idea was born over a few drinks post-race at Hamilton Island. Hence the name – Hamilton Elevators.
One simple word describes our approach: Easy.
Today Hamilton Elevators operates throughout Victoria and Queensland with a partner business in New South Wales. The business is led by some of the most experienced people in the industry which ensures optimum results in the key areas of operation whether a new installation, service, modernisation or replacement.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
With over 30 years of experience in the elevator industry and having worked with two of the largest international elevator companies, Alex has the experience and knowledge to manage almost any elevator project. A keen sailor, Alex established Hamilton elevators 14 years ago on the advice of a few sailing mates who were developers and architects.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
With a strong background in project and HR administration, Michelle is the ‘go-to’ person at Hamilton who provides customer support and information. Michelle is recognised by clients for her fast, friendly and efficient service. Originally from South Africa, she loves helping others and being involved with her children’s school community. Michelle challenges herself with Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to get out of her comfort zone.

Simon Bartlett
SALES MANAGER, VICTORIA
With vast experience in technical sales and customer support in the construction and consumer electronics industry, Simon prides himself on really understanding the client’s needs and the specific project requirements. Combining his relationship management and product marketing skills Simon will develop the right proposal for the project. Simon is also a classic car enthusiast and enjoys travel, music and most sports.

Growing up in the Wide Bay area of Queensland, Sean began his career in the ADF serving in the Royal Australian Artillery. Sean leads business development for Queensland, applying his leadership and logistic skills to deliver exceptional elevator projects in the Brisbane and Gold Coast markets. Outside of work Sean keeps fit, enjoying many sports including golf.
